White Glove Delivery in Montreal

You spent a year building your brand. The website is perfect, the showroom looks incredible, the product itself is a work of design. And then on delivery day, a stranger shows up in muddy boots, drops a box at the front door, and drives away. The customer's first physical experience of your product is somebody leaving a crate in their foyer. That is where most brands lose the customer they worked so hard to win.

AKA Moving's white glove delivery exists so the delivery experience matches the rest of your brand. Clean uniforms, white gloves, branded truck, careful handling, inside delivery, assembly, packaging removal, and a walk-through with the customer before we leave. Your delivery is your brand. We handle the complexity so you never have to explain why something arrived damaged or why the customer is angry about a box in their garage.

Built for Brands That Care About the Last Touch

We built our white glove operation around one type of partner: the brand that knows its customer experience does not end at the showroom. Furniture retailers, design studios, premium appliance dealers, hospitality groups, e-commerce sellers shipping bulky goods into Quebec, and any business whose product is too valuable, too fragile, or too important to hand off to a generic courier. The pages below explain who we work with, but the through-line is the same: if the moment your customer touches your product matters, we are the crew that protects it.

We operate a shared 30,000 square foot warehouse in Dorval where partner inventory is received, stored, and dispatched. We deliver Canada-wide with 48-hour turnaround on most routes. We are BBB accredited, Google 5.0 rated, and Moving Waldo Top 5 in Montreal. For brands shipping into Quebec from the US, Ontario, or overseas, our facility becomes your Montreal home base. Your customers get the delivery experience your brand promised. You get the operational layer without building it yourself.

The Final Step That Leaves a Lasting Impression

The delivery is the moment your customer physically interacts with your brand. Everything you invested in product design, marketing, and the sales experience comes down to this: the crew that arrives at their door. If that crew does the job badly, the rest of your work was wasted. If they do it with precision, your customer remembers. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Care You Can Count On

Every delivery handled with precision and professionalism. Our crews are trained, uniformed, and instructed on the specifics of your product before the truck leaves the warehouse. They know what can be tilted, what cannot, what needs gloves, and what needs a second set of hands. No improvisation at the customer's door.

Expert Handling of Large Items

From designer furniture to major appliances, we specialize in moving and placing bulky goods safely. Leather sectionals, marble-topped tables, king-size bed frames, full refrigerators, double-door dishwashers. Specialized equipment, experienced lifting technique, and measured tolerances through the narrow doorways you will find in Montreal triplexes and loft conversions.

Oversized & Fine FurnitureGrand pianos, marble dining tables, designer sectionals. Equipment and technique to match the product.

Challenging Scenarios? No Problem

Trained professionals equipped to manage stairs, tight spaces, and heavy loads. Montreal has spiral staircases. It has 19th-century triplexes with doorways narrower than the sofa going through them. It has condo buildings with elevators you have to book 48 hours ahead. Our crews have handled every variation of these scenarios, and the reason your delivery is not their first is why it also will not be the one that goes wrong.

Efficiency Meets Safety

On-time deliveries that prioritize the protection of your products and property. Fast does not mean reckless. We move with intent, we protect floors with runners, we pad doorframes before oversized items pass through, and we document the delivery at every stage. The customer does not have to supervise. The retailer does not have to follow up on damage claims.

Seamless and Worry-Free Experience

Trust AKA Moving to represent your brand with excellence. This is the reason retailers stay with us for years. One phone call sets up the delivery. One dispatch coordinates the route. One crew executes at the customer's door. One signature confirms the delivery is complete. No handoffs, no broker middlemen, no finger-pointing when something goes wrong.

Our 6-Step White Glove Process

White glove is a service standard, not a single action. Here is exactly what happens from the moment your product arrives at our warehouse until the customer signs off at their door.

1
Warehouse the Goods
Inventory, photograph, store at our Dorval facility.
2
Call the Client
Schedule the delivery window, confirm access details.
3
Deliver Your Product
Right-sized truck, right-sized crew, on time, in uniform.
4
Bring Inside
Floor runners, padded doorframes, placed where the customer wants it.
5
Remove the Debris
All packaging leaves with us. No cardboard pile in the customer's garage.
6
Install & Assemble
Furniture assembled, appliances installed, photographed, signed for.

Step 1: Warehouse the Goods

Your product arrives at our shared 30,000 square foot facility in Dorval. We inventory every unit, photograph it for condition documentation, and store it in our climate-stable warehouse. For retail partners shipping pallets from overseas suppliers, this is the moment your inventory stops being in transit and starts being in our custody. For e-commerce brands shipping into Quebec from Ontario or the US, this is where consolidated shipments become individual customer deliveries.

Step 2: Call the Client for Delivery Time

We contact your customer directly to schedule the delivery window. We confirm access details, floor, elevator availability, parking restrictions, and any specific placement requests. The customer is never surprised by our arrival. They know when we are coming, who is coming, and what we will be doing when we get there.

Step 3: Deliver Your Product

Our dispatch assigns the right-sized truck, the right-sized crew, and the right equipment for the specific delivery. Our trucks are branded, GPS-tracked, and maintained on a strict schedule. The crew arrives on time, in uniform, with the tools the job actually requires.

Step 4: Bring Your Products Into the House

Inside delivery is the difference between white glove and standard freight. We do not drop at the door. We remove boots or put on shoe covers at the entry, lay down floor runners, pad doorframes, and carry the product to its final placement location. If the customer changes their mind about placement, we move it again. This is not an upsell, it is the service.

Step 5: Remove the Debris

Boxes, cardboard, foam, plastic wrap, zip ties, every piece of packaging leaves with us. The customer does not have to dispose of a pile of packing materials after we leave. Everything goes back into our truck and gets handled properly at our facility. For retail partners, this means no follow-up complaints about cardboard blocking the driveway.

Step 6: Installation and Assembly

Furniture gets assembled. Appliances get installed and tested. Beds get put together. TVs get mounted if the service was included. Pianos get positioned and the brake is set. The customer does not see a pile of parts after we leave. They see the finished product in its final place, photographed for the delivery record, signed for, and ready to use.

What We Handle: From Designer Furniture to Medical Equipment

Every white glove shipment is different. A leather sectional from a designer boutique is not the same as a grand piano, and neither is the same as an imaging machine going into a Westmount clinic. What stays consistent is the standard: clean handling, inside delivery, zero surprises.

Designer Furniture
Sofas, dining tables, beds, armoires, custom-built pieces
Pianos & Antiques
Grand pianos, upright pianos, antique armoires, marble tables
Fine Art & Sculpture
Paintings, framed art, sculptures, gallery installations
Medical Equipment
Exam tables, imaging machines, dental chairs, lab instruments
Electronics & Displays
Commercial AV, large monitors, server racks, smart displays
Premium Appliances
Sub-Zero, Wolf, Miele and other premium brand installations

Luxury and Designer Furniture

We deliver for Montreal's high-end furniture retailers and interior designers. Leather sofas, marble dining tables, upholstered beds, armoires, custom-built pieces. Our crew assembles bases, positions the piece where the customer specifies, and removes all packaging. The customer sees the piece unboxed for the first time in its final spot, not surrounded by a pile of cardboard they have to dispose of.

Pianos, Antiques, and Oversized Pieces

Grand pianos, upright pianos, antique armoires, marble-topped tables, oversized art. These items need specialized equipment and experienced hands. We carry piano dollies, furniture straps rated for heavy loads, and custom padding. For items that will not fit down a staircase or through a doorway, we use hoisting to bring the piece through a window or over a balcony. Our crews have moved hundreds of pianos across Montreal and the West Island.

Fine Art and Collectibles

Art is not moved the way furniture is moved. Paintings are handled with cotton gloves, wrapped in archival tissue, corner-protected, and crated if the value warrants it. Sculptures go into custom foam inserts. We coordinate with gallery curators and private collectors on chain-of-custody documentation. Every piece is photographed at pickup and at delivery to establish condition at both ends.

Medical Equipment and Sensitive Instruments

Clinics, medical offices, and private healthcare providers across Montreal use AKA Moving for equipment relocation and new equipment delivery. Ultrasounds, dental chairs, exam tables, imaging equipment, lab instruments. These items require climate control awareness, calibration preservation, and careful handling. We coordinate delivery windows with facility managers to minimize disruption to clinical operations.

AKA Moving crew positioning a dental examination chair inside a Montreal dental clinic
Specialized HandlingMedical equipment, fragile tech, climate-stable handling. Every white glove delivery is documented end to end.

Electronics, Displays, and Fragile Tech

Commercial displays, corporate AV equipment, large-format monitors, server rack components. Fragile, expensive, and intolerant of vibration. Our white glove crews pack in anti-static materials where required, use dedicated dollies for glass displays, and install at the destination including basic setup and alignment before leaving.
